These Terms & Conditions apply to all bridal makeup services provided by Megan Provan Bridal Artist.
By booking services or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Megan Provan Bridal Artist provides:
Bridal makeup services
Bridal party makeup
Makeup trials
Occasion makeup services
Related beauty services
All bookings are subject to availability.
2. Bookings & Deposits
A non-refundable booking fee\/deposit is required to secure your wedding date.
No booking is confirmed until the deposit has been received.
Remaining balances must be paid no later than the week of the wedding.
Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of services.
3. Bridal Trials
Bridal trials are recommended before the wedding date.
Trial appointments are charged separately unless otherwise agreed.
Trials are intended to experiment with make up looks, get to know each other and develop the desired makeup look and to finalise timings.
4. Cancellations
Client Cancellations
Booking fees\/deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made within 8 weeks of the wedding date may require full payment.
Cancellation by Megan Provan Bridal Artist
In the unlikely event services must be cancelled due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, every effort will be made to recommend a replacement artist. Where this is not possible, payments made (excluding completed trial services) will be refunded.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
Providing accurate booking information
Informing us of allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions
Ensuring a clean and suitable working area with adequate lighting
Being ready at the agreed appointment time
We are not responsible for delays caused by late arrival or incomplete preparation.
6. Health & Hygiene
Strict hygiene practices are maintained at all times.
We reserve the right to refuse service where there are concerns regarding health, safety, hygiene, or inappropriate behaviour.
7. Photography & Marketing
Photographs or videos of makeup work may be used for:
Portfolio purposes
Website galleries
Social media
Marketing and promotional content
Where possible, permission will be requested before identifiable images are shared.
Clients may opt out by notifying us in writing before the wedding date.
8. Liability
While every effort is made to ensure satisfaction and safety:
Clients are responsible for disclosing allergies or skin conditions prior to application.
Megan Provan Bridal Artist shall not be liable for reactions where no prior disclosure has been made.
Liability is limited to the total amount paid for services booked.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted under UK law.
9. Pricing
All pricing is subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.
Confirmed bookings will honour the agreed quotation unless additional services are requested.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, branding, and logos, remains the property of Megan Provan Bridal Artist and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
